My Account - Getting Started
Your traineo homepage
When you first log into your traineo account, you will have the option of choosing where you want to go
- Entering your daily information: My Workout, My Diet, My Stats, About Me, and Messages.
- Motivators: you'll be able to see who your motivators are (if you've chosen to have motivators help you), and who you're personally motivating (optional)
- Latest forum topics: see what's popular in the forums
- Training, Diet & Motivation articles
- Your target: the box on the top right of the page will also keep you updated on how far you've got to go to reach your current weight loss target
My Workout
On your workout page, you have the option of entering up to 3 workouts for that day (i.e. if you went for a run in the morning, did some light weights in the afternoon, and a stroll in the evening). Choose an activity from the list, enter the duration in hours and minutes and then how hard you thought it was.
If you would like to enter in data for any other workouts for that day, click the 'Workout 2' and 'Workout 3' tabs at the top. You'll then be given a total 'calories burned' figure - this is the combined total of all your workouts and this will then be plotted on your workout graph to the right
My Diet
Your diet page works on a system of ranking - the better you've been with your diet, the better your score will be (10 being the best). Simply drag the pointer along the slider and stop where you think is right. You'll notice your diet score updates as you move the pointer and when you let go, your diet graph will also update. The graph will automatically plot your daily diet score over time and is a great way to easily monitor how well your diet has been on track.
My Stats
Your stats page is where you enter in your weight each time you measure it, whether on a daily basis or every few days. Simply enter in your weight value and click the 'Update My Stats' button. You'll then see how much weight you've lost since you last logged it, your total weight loss to date as well as a graph showing your weight change over time. You can zoom in on this graph just by clicking the 'Zoom' button on the top-right of the graph.

About Me
This is where you can view your personal preferences and weight loss targets. You'll see your goal weight and the timescale in which you wish to reach this. You can update the time target at any time along with your goal weight.
Updating your image is easy. Just click the 'Browse' button and select the image from your computer. If you would like to include a little message about yourself this can be added in the 'A little about me' box.
The traineo preferences is where you set you can update your personal settings
- Profile Visibility & Privacy: If you would like to be listed and contacted in the traineo members area, you can set this up here. You can also choose to show other people your weight loss progress
- Show Weight in: Click this if you would like to update your weight units, e.g. in kgs
- Location: Simply choose your country of origin and type in where you're from
- Time Zone: if you're moving around the world or going on holiday, you can update this accordingly
Messages
Your message area is a great way to keep in contact with your fellow traineo community members. If you have selected to have 'motivators' or have a traineo contact, you can easily compose a message to them by choosing the person's name from the 'Compose a Message to' drop-down box. Enter your subject and message and click the submit button to send your email.
The recipient will immediately receive an email telling them they have new mail and they can view their messages at any time by logging into their account and clicking the 'Messages' tab. Received messages are shown on the right hand side and you can also view any sent messages at the bottom. Messages can be deleted by clicking the 'cross' circle next to the message title.

My Account - Tips & Tricks
Motivators
When you sign up, you have the option of adding motivators to keep you on track (up to 4). If you choose not to have any motivators at the time of sign up, you'll get the chance to add them later on from your account area. Each of your motivators will receive an email confirmation asking them to confirm that they want to help you and they'll also get a special traineo account to keep in touch with you.
You can see your motivators and motivees (or the option to add some) at any time in the bottom left of your account area

Weight Loss Articles
From your account area you can get access to some great weight loss articles and tips. You'll see the articles appear on the bottom right you can also view them all by clicking the 'Articles' button at the top of the page.
I've forgotten my password
Not a problem. If you click the 'Log In' button at the top then click 'Forgot Password', you can enter your email to have it sent to you again. Your password will automatically be reset to a random word or letters but you can change it by clicking the 'About Me' tab in your account area and then 'change password'
Changing email address
If you would like to update your email address, click the 'About Me' tab in your account area, then the 'Change' link were your email is shown on the rightl
How do I delete my traineo account?
We're always sad to see members go but before you decide to fully delete your account, have you checked our traineo privacy settings? If you want to leave traineo because you're worried your account is viewable by others or have other privacy concerns you can always change this by clicking the 'Profile Visibility & Privacy' in your 'About page'.
If you still want to delete your account, just click the 'more' link next to the 'Delete my account' text at the bottom right of your 'About Page'. You'll then be prompted to confirm this and once you proceed, all history of your traineo account will be removed.
